Disha Central Park

The Challenge

Located in Panathur, Bangalore, Disha Central Park is an apartment  complex that initially depended on borewells and water tankers for its  supply. As borewell output declined over time, the community had to  rely on an increasing number of tankers up to seven tankers of  12,000 liter capacity each leading to rising water expenses

The Solution

To tackle this challenge, the community decided to install 312 smart  water meters to accurately measure water usage for each apartment.  This transformative step reduced their reliance on tankers to just 3-4 per  month. The implementation of smart metering delivered two key  benefits:

  • Fair Billing: Each household is charged based on its actual water consumption, ensuring transparency and fairness.

  • Promoting Conscious Usage: Regular meter readings  encourage residents to monitor and reduce their water usage, fostering a culture of conservation.

Value Delivered

  • Accurate Readings: Reliable and precise measurement of  water usage for every household.

  • Real-Time Insights: Continuous monitoring and control of  water consumption, enabling proactive management.

  • Leak Detection: Quick identification of leaks or abnormal  consumption patterns to minimize water wastage.

  • App-Based Control: Residents can access consumption data and control water usage directly through the app, including the ability to remotely shut off their home's water  supply.

  • Usage-Based Billing: Transparent, consumption-driven billing through the dashboard, ensuring fair and accurate  charges.

  • Easy Water Management: Simplified water management  for residents and facility managers with an intuitive platform  for monitoring and adjusting water usage
